Since January 22, the Moscow government has eased quarantine measures and announced the resumption of entertainment, cultural and leisure, exhibition, educational, mass physical culture, sports, and advertising events. In our blog we will tell you, organizers of which conferences and exhibitions of the gaming industry have already taken the chance and announced the holding of events offline, and which have not yet decided to return to the usual format.
The annual Ural festival of science fiction and role-playing games in 2021 will be held in an offline format.
In addition to the fair and theatrical performances, the festival program will include seminars, lectures, master classes on the theory and practice of role-playing games, as well as presentations of role-playing games for the upcoming season.
The spring DevGAMM 2021 conference will be held in an online format. In 2020, after the successful online spring and autumn conferences, a return to the offline format is not yet planned. At the same time, if the spring DevGAMM 2020 was attended by 1300 participants, then more than 2000 representatives of the gaming industry participated in the autumn conference.
DevGAMM is the largest professional conference of the gaming industry in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The advantages of DevGAMM: high-quality content on the topic of game development, a low entry threshold for novice developers and a series of events aimed at a productive time and effective networking.
In October 2020, the autumn White Nights conference, which was previously traditionally held in Moscow, was held in an online format. The list of participants in WN Fall'20 included Rovio, Nordeus, Voodoo, Blizzard, TikTok, AppGallery, Melsoft, VK, Wargaming, Facebook, Unreal Engine, MyTacker, SHAREit and many other leaders of the gaming industry. The participants of the conference, as always, had the opportunity to personally meet with publishers and developers, representatives of platforms and services.
The winter conference was also held in an online format. The format of the summer and autumn business conferences of the gaming industry, as well as the exact dates of their holding, is still unknown. It is worth noting that the event in the online format also received a lot of positive feedback, so we recommend that you do not miss your chance and add White Nights 2021 to your calendar of events for the next year. At the same time, in Moscow, the government has relaxed quarantine measures and allowed exhibitions and cultural events to be held, so White Nights 2021 in Moscow and St. Petersburg has every chance to take place in the usual offline format.
