What is more, in some IT sectors Russia is becoming an international platform for discussing the latest trends and prospects for the development of information technologies. All this is evidenced by increasing number and quality of international IT exhibitions in Russia, along with more interest shown from both Russian and foreign IT companies. This article provides information about the most significant IT exhibitions in Russia, including 3D Print Expo, InfoSecurity Russia, SvyazYu Navitech and others.

IoT World Summit Russia

IoT World Summit Russia tops our list. It is held in Innopolis City in the Kazan metropolitan area. You can find out about the dates of the nearest exhibition on its official website (www.iotworldsummit.ru). This event is to take place for the first time. The exhibition brings together the leaders in the field of IoT (Internet of Things), business and state representatives, specialists and leading experts of the industry. The event is expected to be fundamental for a technological breakthrough in IoT in Russia.

IoT World Summit Russia unites many world IoT, provides reviews of the latest trends and ways of developing the industry in the "Internet of Things" and "smart technologies" segments. This year, representatives of 12 countries will take part in the exhibition. Apart from Russia, they are the USA, Germany, France, Great Britain, China, South Korea, Singapore and others. Among the speakers there are Marco Annunziata (Chief Economist, General Electric Co., USA), Ying Dong Cho (Vice Mayor, Seoul City Government), Willson Dang (Executive Director, Arcstone Pte. Ltd., Singapore) and many other foreign guests and Russian experts.

There are 5 flows:

  • Smart City: smart city, IoT introduction in urban transport, water supply, energy, finance and urban security.
  • Smart Factory: IoT in engineering, oil and gas, metallurgy, mining and chemical industries and other industrial projects.
  • Smart Service: using IoT in the service sector; non-contact payments, shops management and payments, IoT in logistics.
  • Smart Agro: smart agriculture. Using IoT and wireless technologies in the agricultural sector, drones on farms, military and space technologies in agriculture, livestock farming management through IoT, and more.
  • Smart Technology: cloud and fog technologies, blockchain, big data and IoT security.

InfoSecurity Russia

This is the only industry exhibition in Russia on information and cyber security. The exhibition is held in Moscow at the Crocus Expo platform. The exhibition has been held since 2004 and has already proved itself as a leading event for managers and specialists of IT and IS departments of companies working in various industries: transport, oil and gas, banking and financial sector, trade, fuel and energy complex etc. You can find out about the dates of the exhibition on its official website: www.infosecurityrussia.ru.

In 2016, 98 leading companies in the field of information security from Russia and other countries participated in the exhibition. InfoSecurity Russia is more than three hundred products and solutions, 15,000 meetings, 210 speakers, 197 events in booths and conference rooms. Traditionally, companies from Russia, USA, Germany, Great Britain, Israel and other countries take part in the exposition.

3D Print Expo

3D Print Expo is annually held in Moscow in mid-October and features 3D printing technologies. The largest in Eastern Europe, this exhibition of advanced technologies for 3D printing and scanning has been held since 2013. Here you can learn everything about additive technologies and the latest developments in 3D printing, scanning and modeling. Last year 3D Print Expo was attended by more than 5000 visitors from the CIS and far-abroad countries.

The participants are manufacturers of personal and industrial 3D printers and scanners, accessories and materials for 3D printing, developers of 3D printing software and other 3D printing market players. BQ, ESUN, Ningbo Mike Plastic Products Co., KING-PAI TECHNOLOGY are one of the many companies to have confirmed their participation in the event. Official website of the exhibition: www.3d-expo.ru.

Integrated System Russia + Hi-Tech Building

Integrated System Russia + Hi-Tech Building are two IT exhibitions usually held in late October and early November at the Expocentre platform in Moscow.  

The Integrated System Russia, held for the 11th time, is dedicated to system integration, audiovisual, information and communication technologies. This is the only exhibition of products from these areas held in Russia and CIS countries. The products and proposals that will be presented at the event are related to such spheres as:

  • Integrated control systems;
  • Systems and devices for distribution and processing of AV signals;
  • LED - displays, commercial display, hotel TV;
  • Professional projectors and projection screens;
  • Switchgear equipment;
  • Professional audio equipment;
  • Professional video equipment;
  • Climate control;
  • Lighting systems;
  • Multimedia systems and devices;
  • Software;
  • Conferencing systems;
  • Security system;
  • System integration;
  • And many more.

Hi-Tech Building, held for the 16th time, is the only professional platform in Russia and the CIS countries where manufacturers, integrators, distributors, customers and other automation market players have an opportunity to exchange their experience and establish useful business contacts.

Robotics Expo

Another interesting IT-exhibition is held in Moscow and is dedicated to robotics. You can find out the dates of the nearest exhibition on its official website: www.robot-ex.ru/en. Robotics Expo was first held in 2013 and has since established itself as a leading event in manufacturing and use of robots and robot technology development. This time the first day of the exhibition will be fully reserved for the B2B format, while the doors will be open to all comers on the second day.

Navitech + Sviaz 

Navitech and Sviaz are two IT exhibitions usually held in Moscow in spring. You can find out about the dates of the exhibitions on their official websites: www.navitech-expo.ru, www.sviaz-expo.ru. In 2018, Navitech will be held for the tenth time, while Sviaz will celebrate its 30th anniversary. More recently the two events have been held as part of Russian week of high technologies.

Sviaz is the central platform of the communication, telecommunications and information technologies industry. In 2017, it was attended by exhibitors and visitors from 22 countries. The exhibition covers such market segments as communication technologies and equipment, data transmission networks, television and radio broadcasting, software, IT services, mobile payments, telecommunications and network infrastructure, data processing and storage centers.

Navitech is the only specialized exhibition in Russia that brings together leading Russian and foreign developers and manufacturers of navigation equipment, services and software, including cartographic applications. In 2017, exhibitors from Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, USA, China and South Korea took part in the event. Subjects of the exhibition: navigation and information systems in transport, high-precision satellite navigation, indoor navigation, professional navigation equipment and much more.
