Moscow - September 15, 2015 / The Conference on Development of Trade, Tourism and Cooperation between Vietnam and Russia took place in multifunctional center "Hanoi-Moscow". The organizers of the event were the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Russian Federation, LLC "Investment Company" INTSENTRA «with informational support of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and the Business Council for Cooperation with Vietnam.
The conference was attended by top managers and owners of more than 50 companies from Vietnam, as well as more than 150 representatives of the Russian business community.
The conference precedes the first in Russia selling exhibition of goods from Vietnam "Vietnam Expo 2015", which will be held in the MFC "Hanoi-Moscow" from November 12 to December 12, 2015 and began a series of major events dedicated to the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between the Vietnam and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The event included a discussion on the potential and plans awaiting the introduction of the EEU free trade zone and Vietnam.
Top managers and owners of more than 50 Vietnamese companies in the fields of food industry, fashion industry, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, home appliances, jewelry, furniture and decoration, trade and logistics, presented the trade and economic potential of the Ho Chi Minh City, as well as presented the main range of export products region.
RMAA Group President Vadim Tylik delivered a speech on the development and promotion of Vietnamese goods in the Russian market. He suggested ways to find out whether there is a demand for the product / service in Russia. He also talked about how to attract customers of foreign companies on the Russian market.
After the ratification of the Agreement signed May 29, 2015, import duties for 88% of Vietnamese goods will be reset to zero or significantly reduced. The Russian market will get an influx of new affordable and quality goods, as for entrepreneurs, they will get an access to the Vietnamese market which has capacity of about 90 mln. people.
