Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport (KGD) is the only airport of the Kaliningrad region, Russia's westernmost exclave. Passenger traffic exceeded 5 million in 2025, the airport's 80th anniversary year (Novaport Holding, April 2026), after 4.8 million in 2024 first placed Khrabrovo in the national top ten. Because the region has no straightforward land transit for most travellers, aviation carries the bulk of passenger movement to mainland Russia. RMAA Agency arranges advertising placements at Khrabrovo.
City Description
Kaliningrad combines a growing Baltic tourism profile with resident travel that depends on air links more than in any other Russian region. Summer holiday traffic to the seaside towns adds a pronounced seasonal peak on top of year-round flows to Moscow and St. Petersburg, and the 2026 schedule spans 29 direct routes, including Minsk, Antalya, Yerevan, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh (Novaport, April 2026). The airport lies north of the city with road access from Kaliningrad and the coastal resorts.
