Open Roles
We list only roles that are open right now: nothing archived, nothing "for later." If nothing fits, the talent pool is always open.

How We Work
Four principles that describe the job better than any title does.
Location Doesn't Matter. Hours Do.
We've worked fully remotely since 2020, with no office and no geographic limits. Most of the team is in Moscow, the rest in other countries. The one condition is a shared workday with the team, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Moscow time (UTC+3), Monday to Friday.
Evenings and Weekends Belong to the Team
During the workday we expect full engagement, speed, and efficiency. Late nights and weekend work are not part of our culture. Some projects need extra attention, but that's the exception, not the rule.
The Project Manager Owns the Project End to End
A project manager at RMAA Agency is not a coordinator passing information between the client and the team. They understand the request, build the solution with our specialists, and are accountable for the result from the first brief to the final report.
We Use AI and We're Willing to Change Our Own Processes
If a new tool solves a task faster or better, we would rather try it than hold on to a familiar process. Working with AI is the norm for us, including at the take-home assignment stage.
What We Look For
Six qualities we hire for. Seniority and titles matter less.
Proactivity
You don't wait to be assigned a task: you spot the problem and solve it. There's no approval chain to wait for.
Global Outlook
You work with clients from different cultures and understand the cultural, linguistic, and media context of each market. This comes from practice, not textbooks.
Maturity
You work autonomously and stand behind your decisions. Experience matters, but judgment matters more than years in the industry.
Resilience
Our markets are among the most unpredictable in the world. Staying calm and productive when things change overnight is a skill of its own.
Honesty
With the client, with the team, with yourself. We value direct communication and expect the same from everyone on the team.
Focus
You go deep rather than wide. We would rather do a few things well than a little of everything, because deep expertise is what clients pay us for.
Who RMAA Agency Is Right For, and Who It Isn't
We're upfront about both, so neither of us wastes time.

You'll Do Well Here If
- you read a brief for its context, not its wording, and ask the questions the client didn't
- you're comfortable with numbers: budgets, discounts, and estimate revisions, and you make sure they add up
- you make a decision and propose the next step before anyone asks
- you run several projects at once without losing track of what's changed and what's been agreed
- you write to clients in English at C1 level or higher
- you first learn how things work here and only then apply your experience
- you're ready to look under the hood and see what's actually going on in a project, rather than just asking how it's going
- you're curious and empathetic, and you take feedback well

It's Probably Not for You If
- you see project management as mostly tracking tasks and relaying information
- you'd rather receive a clearly defined task with detailed step-by-step instructions
- you find constantly changing numbers, budgets, and inputs stressful rather than normal
- when there's a delay or a problem, you wait for a manager's decision instead of moving the project forward yourself
- you don't yet have a basic understanding of display or performance advertising
- you apply the rule "that's how it's done in the Russian market" to every new context
- you treat remote work like freelancing, on your own schedule: the team notices that very quickly
What We Believe
We don't diversify for the sake of diversification. We choose a niche, bet on it and see every project through to a result. Today we run four service lines, not fifteen, and that is a deliberate choice.
Since 2008, we have been through several crises, and each one was a make-or-break moment. Every time, we chose to grow. To us, a crisis is not a threat: it's the moment when the noise falls away and what remains is the team and the work.
The team is the one asset we protect through any turbulence. That is why we look for people who think, make decisions and own the result, not people who wait for instructions. No micromanagement, no multi-stage approvals, no corporate theater.
We deliberately take risks where there is no way to prepare in advance. Being wrong in this kind of work is normal. Waiting for someone else to decide is not. If this sounds like you, write to us.
Vadim Tylik
Founder & CEO
Vadim started out in advertising and marketing in the Russian Far East, in Khabarovsk. In 2008, he founded RMAA Agency and has since built it into a cross-border marketing agency headquartered in Moscow, with a distributed international team. Over the years, the agency has delivered more than 500 projects for over 200 clients.
Vadim keeps the structure simple: no complex corporate hierarchy and no obsession with junior, mid-level and senior grades. What counts is independence, speed, common sense, responsibility and direct communication. People who deliver results soon get more freedom and influence.
On Instagram, Vadim regularly talks about the company, the work and how decisions get made here. If you're thinking about writing to us, his posts are the fastest way to see whether our team is right for you.

How Hiring Works
Short and to the point. Here is what to expect.
-

A conversation about the work itself: how you think, how you make decisions and what you've done before.
-
Step 4
Work Sample, If the Role Requires One
We give it only to candidates we're interested in, and it's based on the work you'd actually do.
-
Step 5
Final Meeting with the Leadership
After this meeting, we make a decision and let you know either way.
Questions People Ask Before Writing
Yes. Most of the team lives in Moscow, where colleagues can meet in person and occasionally work offline with partners. Living in Moscow isn't a requirement, though. Team members are based in different countries, and the only condition is that everyone works together from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Moscow time (UTC+3), Monday to Friday.
We hire both Russian citizens and people from anywhere in the world. At the moment the team works on Moscow time and Russian remains the main internal working language, so for most roles it matters today. If you don't speak Russian but everything else fits, write anyway and we'll figure it out.
It depends on where you live: the legal entity and the format are agreed individually at the offer stage. This page describes the work and the team, not a specific employer.
We pay a competitive, market-level salary, and in the agency's entire history, salaries have never once been paid late. Include your expected salary in your email. The specific amount is discussed individually after the interview.
Yes. See the talent pool page and tell us who you'd like to be at RMAA Agency. We open similar roles regularly and come back to such emails first.
Mostly email and messengers, calls when needed. Our clients are primarily brands and agencies from Asia and the Middle East, so the working language with them is English.
