Airport Description

Vnukovo International Airport (VKO) is one of the three airports of the Moscow Aviation Hub. It handled 16.4 million passengers in 2025, a 2.5% increase on the prior year and the only growth among Moscow's airports that year (Expert, February 2026). Growth came largely from new foreign carriers, with Turkish airlines forming a significant share of traffic. RMAA Agency arranges advertising placements at Vnukovo for departing, arriving and connecting passengers.

City Description

Moscow generates the largest concentration of air travel demand in Russia, combining business, government and leisure traffic. Vnukovo's route mix skews toward Turkey, the CIS and domestic trunk destinations, so its terminal audience differs measurably from the other two Moscow airports. The airport lies southwest of the city and is connected to central Moscow by rail and road links, serving residents and inbound visitors alike.
