Sochi International Airport (AER) is the main air gateway of Russia's largest resort cluster on the Black Sea coast. City Description
Sochi combines summer beach season with winter demand generated by the Krasnaya Polyana mountain resorts, producing two distinct annual passenger peaks. Tourist arrivals dominate the flow, complemented by congress and event travel and by resident traffic toward Moscow and other hubs. The airport is located in the Adler district, close to both the coastal zone and the road corridor leading to the mountain cluster.
